Living On A Budget

We shouldn't eat at Ikea- Ailz is always poorly afterwards- but it's hard to resist their prices. Yesterday  they had duck on the menu for under £6.00.

We bought an iron at Sainsbury's: one of their Basics models. It cost roughly as much as the duck. We gave our old one to Odi on the understanding she'd come round sometimes and do some ironing for us- and then she moved away.

We're trying to keep our food shopping below £50 a week. 'Taint easy, what with prices rising all the time. The cheap orange juice I have for breakfast just went up 12p.
