I woke up feeling foggy- and have continued foggy all day. I tried writing about the Barnsley byelection but found I was insufficiently interested in my entirely predictable opinions about the entirely predictable outcome (The Lib Dems got trashed). In spite of the fogginess I find I'm getting really good at Spider Solitaire.
It's when a parliamentary seat becomes vacant and there has to be a local election to choose a new MP.
In the case of Barnsley Central the sitting MP was jailed for fiddling his expenses.
He'll have to be dragged kicking and screaming.

Lib Dems are peddling the opinion that it means nothing very much and they will hold to their current positions. I think it means a whole lot about how they are now seen - as unreliable with their promises and never to be trusted again!
By the way, we are all booked to come next Sunday for our visit and looking forward to it very much.
Looking forward to seeing you then!
Good old Spider Solitaire! Can't quite get the four suits version, though. It's beyond my intellectual capacity.
Me neither. I'm sticking with two suits.
Sounds perfectly sensible to me...
