A Happy Outcome

Odi and Peter are back together again. We saw her a couple of times last week. Apparently we gave her "good advice" that time shortly after Christmas when she descended on us at two o'clock in the morning. Good, I was afraid we might have been too hard on her. Since then she's been in Liverpool, reflecting on her relationship and coming to the conclusion that Peter isn't such a bad sort after all- which is exactly what we thought would happen and a reason we didn't offer her much sympathy when she was slagging him off.  One thing I've learned from painful experience is that you don't take sides when couples are fighting, because they always care more about one another than they care about you- and are liable to turn on you as the common enemy once peace has broken out.
