The fridge was so badly iced up it took nearly 24 hours to defrost. My excuse for having neglected it so long is that there's never a good time to have souring bottles of milk and softening packets of butter standing around on the kitchen tops. |
The fridge has a small freezer compartment we don't use. We keep it full of blocks of polystyrene to stop the engine labouring round the clock to solidify all that empty air.
