Wow, beautiful. This reminds me of the Sun card.
BTW, I got your lovely little book- It's nestling up to the Hutton and Harrow on my bookshelf :) Love the jelly doughnuts!
I'm glad you like the book :)
I saw Lord Adonis on BBC World News, and I chortled, too.
He's not exactly an ugly man, but he hardly lives up to his name.
What a lovely, lonely place!
Lots more pictures to come. :)
Beautiful! One of these days I will get to Glastonbury.
You haven't been? Oh, but you must!
Great photo. I look forward to your Glastonbury posts.
Thanks. There are a lot more photos to come.
Oh, lovely photo... brings back so many memories. *wants to go back*
We keep going back.
And this trip we reconnected with an old friend who used to live up here but now lives down there, so the reasons for going back have increased
I really liked Glastonbury. It reminded me somehow of Santa Cruz, CA, only without the beach boardwalk and teen vampires. There was the same hippie, new age free spirit vibe to it. I wonder if there are any "Keep Glastonbury Weird" stickers?
Chalice Well was wonderful, too.
I love Glastonbury. Recently we've taken to going at least once a year. Yes, it's a free-spirited place, but there's plenty of darkness there too.
It seems you can't have the thing that people want from a place like this- the freedom, the beauty, the truth- without there being predation and exploitation and dependency...
That was true of Santa Cruz, too. Lots of street people, lots of extremes of light and darkness.
It makes me appreciate my underappreciated home city- which seems to have a handle on such things. Ordinary is good.
That's true. Glastonbury is good to visit. But would you want to live there? Ailz and I were talking about this. She was saying you could burn out very quickly in that over-oxygenated atmosphere.
The tower on the Tor is a sight I love. Did you climb it this time?
Yes, I did. Alice and I went up on Monday afternoon.
Sorry - I'm going backwards through your blog posts.
Did you do Tewkesbury Abbey? That's a nice bit of medieval architecture!!
