A Twelfth Of My Life [Mar. 9th, 2009|12:25 pm]
Tony Grist
Other signs of spring are that the rabbits are moulting heroically and-  not unconnected to this- I've had to start taking my allergy pills again.

But I like March. I like its bustling weather. Yesterday we had buttery sunshine first thing, followed by rain, a hailstorm and a brief incident of thunder and lightning.

I've stopped angsting about going to church. It's no longer a weekly drama, just something I do.  I'm remembering names, even (cross fingers) making friends.

Saturday marked my fifth anniverary on LJ.  Or- to put it another way- I've blogging here for roughly 1/12th of my life.

I've been following every instalment of your faith/church journey with a lot of interest. Your honesty with yourself and questioning makes it compelling truth. I'm glad you are at peace with what you are doing, do please keep updating :)

I'd been counting down to the anniversary- but then when it came I missed it.

"moulting heroically"! Ha! Good description. (Nanook is doing this, too.)

My 5th anniversary was last September. I can't quite believe it myself.
But here we are.

Allergy pills have come out of the cupboard here, too. The cypress tree pollen is all over the place.

I keep wondering how much longer I'll be able to keep it up. I've been taking more days off recently.

I think that like all long term things, there are ups and downs, and sometimes there's just not much to say.

It's wintry here today. Nothing very exciting- just cold and overcast.

I can't tell if I should offer congratulations or apologize, but I am glad you're here.

Has it been five years?

You were one of my first friends, and a model for me.
