Three Dreams

1. My mother and father are sitting at the far end of a big white room. Both are young- and I rather think he is wearing his WWII naval uniform. She is telling him he has no need to be jealous of her friend Clare . This reminds me of an incident I've read about in family documents involving Clare's battered cake stand which- as it happens- I am holding in my hand and using as a wine glass.

2. A invisible spirit is communicating with raps, counting through the alphabet and stopping at the letter it needs. I ask who wrote Shakespeare and it replies "Ghost writers".

3. I am dodging bullets in an underground cave system and thereby stop the government of an African nation from being overthrown. As a reward I get to meet the president.
