Excellent, I'm so glad she's OK. Good wishes to both of you.
So glad she is doing better. Take good care of her for us. And of yourself.
Thanks. I'll be visiting in a couple of hours- and will report back.
Just so heartened to read this
Poor Ailz, poor you, butI thank the gods she's going to be alright.
Many thoughts and love to her, when you see her, please
Yes, I'll give her your love.

Re: Thank God(whateverthatis)
"bet you can't either"
Oh, I am SO glad they got to this in time and I'm sure things will only improve for her from now. My deepest wishes for a speedy recovery for her and a little extra strength for you too.
I'm finding sleep is a really good way of passing the time.
Ah, the battle where tanks made their debut.
Glad to see the wife doing better. :)
It was a battle run with stopwatch precision- but human beings aren't machines and a lack of flexibility in the planning led to disaster
Now that they've got that bad stuff out of her, she'll mend fast. She's a strong woman - and sometimes that can be detrimental, strong people resist things like docs and hospitals.
You've had a very tough week, both of you. I thank the powers that be, that she will be alright. And YOU get some rest, after you visit her. You don't need to be ill.
Give Ailz my best.
"She's a strong woman - and sometimes that can be detrimental, strong people resist things like docs and hospitals."
That's exactly right.
I've been sleeping well. I've been bone weary by the end of each day.
A bad gall bladder is a very bad thing indeed.
They told me mine was almost twice the normal size and all spongey. And that they had to take it out in hundreds of little pieces. Eeeeuw.
Anyway, I'm thrilled that she's doing better. Hurrah! May her recouperation be swift.
Will continue to send good thoughts your way, though.
I don't know what Ailz's gb looked like- I think it's probably better not to know. However the surgeon did say that he wished it had been someone else on call that night.
Hooray for recovery! I'm glad Ailz is doing better, and I hope the remainder of her recovery is speedy.
I can't imagine how agonizing this whole thing has been for both of you. It's a good thing that it's coming to a happy ending.
I think this has been the longest week of my life.....
Still sending Aliz healing and love. So much of it. May her recovery (and yours!) be swift!
Yes, basically, the gall bladder had died. Bleagh!
Though we don't know each other I send both of you my best wishes for a quick recovery.

I'm so glad that she's all right!
She was so much better when i saw her last night
I am very glad she's all right. May she recover fully soon; and you, too.
