Coming Into Leaf

The big chestnut tree has just come into leaf. So has the beech hedge. The building to the right is the stables block we call the donkey shed. The figure in the middle is Julia. I called her over to provide human interest- and she said she'd only do it if she could be performing some action because otherwise she'd be too self-conscious so I said, "Make like you're shovelling woodchip".
