Oh Sleep It Is A Gentle Thing...

I was getting up at seven thirty but now, with the lengthening days, I'm getting up at seven. I don't sleep well- and last night I had a dream that was all about not sleeping well in which I was staying at a hotel and my bedroom was also a great open hall- in which people were doing all sorts of things- including playing the piano.

Around midnight, either before or after the dream (I forget which) my mother called for me and I went in and she asked me what was going on and I said "Nothing" and she said something was- but then she lost her drift and apologised for getting me out of bed...
