Is It Going To Snow?

Judy and I have fallen back into a regular exchange of emails. I didn't think we would. But we have several shared interests. I don't suppose I have anyone else in my life with whom I can discuss Ezra Pound...

I read a couple of the Cantos the other day. Pound burbles, but burbles beautifully. He was so gifted- and yet he spent most of his life cobbling together a disjointed poem about economics that can only be understood with footnotes.

I thought I'd miss crosswords- and I don't. Instead of picking up the newspaper after lunch and folding it into a tabloid with the crossword uppermost, I fold my arms and go to sleep.
