The current regulations are being widely ignored, I don't suppose that's going to change. This is not a police state- however much the authorities might wish it was. We don't have enough police persons to begin with- and those we do are kept busy putting on robo-gear to deter peaceful demonstrations or else harrass BAME people for driving the sort of car that only white people are supposed to be able to afford...
