Cottage Industry

I'd assumed when I wrote about it yesterday that Talking Pictures was a subsidiary of some much larger organisation- but then the BBC evening news ran an item that put me straight.

The company is run by a film buff and his daughter from the family home in Hertfordshire. They're the ones putting on the tapes and flicking the switches. If you ring them up the odds are you'll get through to one of them directly- and if you want to chat about old movies there's nothing they like better...
