I was showing my great nephew my Victorian and early 20th century stereo-views. He thought the ones of the Great War were especially cool. "I can take those on my phone," said my nephew. He downloaded the app in a matter of seconds- then took a picture of me sitting in my chair. The side-by-side images on the plasma screen were exactly the right size to be viewed- in stunning 3D- through the eye pieces of the 1890s viewer. Two technologies- separated by over a century- and entirely compatible.
