Moving Into Winter...

We ordered hanging baskets from an online supplier and they also sent us two trays of pansies as a free gift. I've filled two baskets and two patches of flowerbed with them. They'll provide a few splashes of winter colour.

Just over a week ago we were enjoying- or sweating- under a heatwave. Now there's a nip in the air. Autumn has been creeping up on us for a while now but it still surprised me the other night when I was going to bed and registered that it was no longer daylight- or even twilight- but that the stars were out.
