Come On, Pull Yourself Together, At Least You're Not Living In Aleksei German's World

I watched two movies yesterday, one was a clever murder mystery from 1934 and the second was Aleksei German's immersive, Breughelian and horrifically inventive Hard to be a God. I'm not going to go on about either of them, except to say that German may have had quite a lot to do with me waking up this morning in a grim and grisly mood.

But the sun is out now (about time too) and my spirits are lifting. "Row, row, row your boat etc.." I would like to be suitably and sufficiently cheerful when the third estate agent comes calling.
