I don't much care for peanut butter- it's too sweet and claggy for me- but if you wave a magic wand and turn it into satay I can't get enough of it.
We'd been buying satay at the farm shop, but Ailz has been making our own humus- and that's not difficult- so why not satay as well?
Satay, it turns out, is even easier to make than humus. The whole process takes about 5 minutes.
I'm not in the habit of posting recipes but this one is too good not to share.
1 cup peanut butter
2 large cloves of garlic
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1/3 cup water
3 tablespoons lemon juice
Salt and pepper to taste.
Mix ingredients in blender.
