Beachy Head

There's no fence. I like it that there's no fence. If you feel like stepping off into eternity the National Trust isn't going to do anything to to stop you

Back To Eastbourne

We went back to Eastbourne (and Tome).  I bought a couple more obscure late Wellses.  Ailz was after Nevil Shute- and found just the one title. For a writer who was an enormous best-seller in his day he's become remarkably rare.

The Pentacle Drummers were making an enormous, wonderful noise in the town centre.

We had afternoon tea on the beach at Seaford.

Towards the end of the afternoon the sky cleared and the sun came out. I love the South Downs.
