Bodiam

I was intending to post every day of this year but yesterday I dropped the ball. I had a throat infection. Lots of people round here have had it but it seems to have hit me hardest- or maybe I'm just the biggest wimp. Before I finally succumbed I fitted in a trip to Bodiam Castle with the kids. Bodiam has appeared in a lot of movies and TV shows because it looks like everyone's idea of a medieval castle and is within easy reach of London. It served as Kevin Costner's home in Prince of Thieves- for which purpose it was transported to Yorkshire.
