It was a close call. Ailz arrived around midnight and her mother died this morning.

Good bye dear soul,
travel on in peace,
you will not be alone.

she leaves a big hole
but is part fo the greater whole now.

its been a long time coming
but its still a shock

hugs to you both

Thanks.

She's moved on. The decade of her widowhood wasn't a happy one for her.

Thanks.

She was 89- and her health had deteriorated to the point where she wasn't going to be able to continue living at home.

I am sorry. The loss of a parent is never really easy to take, no matter how old, how ill or even whether the relationship was good or not. You are never really grown up until you are without parents.

Thanks.

Yes, when your parents die you move up a class and become a member of the older generation.
