Looking Out To Sea [Dec. 10th, 2018|08:24 pm]
Tony Grist

This was taken on the beach at St Leonards around 2.30 in the afternoon. It had been wonderfully sunny at midday but then the clouds had moved in and the light became crepuscular. This part of the coast must have had some high seas over the weekend because there was a lot of shingle spread across the lower promenade.

That is a spectacular photo and I love the light or in this case, the insinuation of light. I would love to spend long periods by the sea...

Thanks.

We live about 25 miles from the sea- and drive down there frequently.

Oh, my - that light is fabulous!

Yes, I bet all the sea front cafés had their shutters up over the weekend.

The place where we ate- which is on the front- was doing a roaring trade.
