I dreamed I was on Wythenshawe- the South Manchester housing estate where I served my first curacy- and attending the dedication of a new Roman Catholic church. It was a very big building- on the scale of a cathedral- and the most remarkable thing about it was its glass roof- which covered the entire space without any visible framework of support. Two very friendly- not to say, seductive-  bishops engaged me in conversation, trying to get me to convert to Catholicism- and I politely fended them off.
