Ten Minutes At The Seaside [Oct. 16th, 2018|09:26 am]
Tony Grist
The mist began to clear as we crossed the county line from Kent into Sussex- and by the time we reached the coast the sun was shining in an almost cloudless sky. I was so tired I was feeling ill with it- but ten minutes on the beach at St Leonard's, sitting on a breakwater, getting my feet and trouser legs wet completely recharged my batteries.

Seawater can be invigorating.

Yes, indeed.

I'm not much of a swimmer but I like to get my feet wet.

The seaside in general invigorates me. I chalk it up to the sea air.

I think the waves have something to do with it too. So much energy.

Yes, a bit of sea air really does blow away the cobwebs.

I must try and get down to the coast again soon.

We run down to the coast several times a month. It's a 25 mile run to the nearest point- which is Hastings.
