Unseasonal [Mar. 18th, 2018|09:34 am]
Tony Grist
Snow fell yesterday morning and is still lying on the ground. There's not a lot of it. Half an inch maybe. The grass shows through. The daffodils have been discouraged.

Heh! I love this image. Just enough snow to discommode the daffodils...

We had slightly more. Maybe three inches. Enough to flatten the daffs.

There's a cold wind and the temperature is around zero. I'm hoping this is going to change- and soon.

We had a couple of inches, which seems to be disappearing now. It's still cold and the wind is biting.

Snow has been falling for much of the afternoon- but not heavily. The world is whiter than it was first thing but the grass is still poking through.

The relentless rain has been discouraging some of my Spring blooms as it's plastered them down. But at least they haven't frozen.

It's too late in the year for this sort of thing.
