Oh splendid! Kazuo Ishiguro wins the Nobel Prize for Literature. 

I'm so pleased. 

(And I didn't even realise he was a contender)

I've read most of his books. They're all unmistakeably his- and yet he never repeats himself. He's always striking out for new territory. I particularly love The Buried Giant and The Unconsoled.
