Carrying On As If

"I think we'll still be here next year" says Ailz and I agree. The people who are keen to buy up our land aren't that keen to do it quickly- and really we're not that bothered either. This is a nice place to live.

Anyway, we carry on carrying on as if there's no limit on our time here. This morning Julia has been pruning the roses for us. It should have been done years ago but our bossy neighbour told me I needed to do it and I'm stubborn.
