The Archbishop's Palace, Maidstone

The sun came out very briefly yesterday afternoon- at just the time I was wandering round Maidstone's historic South-West corner- and I got to take some pictures of the architecture. Generally speaking, Maidstone isn't a particularly attractive town- but it has its nooks and crannies.

This is the Archbishop's Palace. It's not a Palace any more. It houses offices. And you can get married there- which is what my sister and brother-in-law did in 2008.
