A Tudor Merchant And His Child [Mar. 22nd, 2016|09:43 am]
Tony Grist

Brass of Thomas Sheffe (d. 1520) and an un-named "chysom child" in St Dunstan's, Cranbrook.

Sheffe was a clothier. The occult symbol between the two figures is his trade mark.
