|A Sign Of Advancing Age:

Instead of charging downstairs you pause at the top and adjust your footing.|
at the moment I only ever do that in the dark! :o)
I'm now doing it at all times of day.
Don't I know it. My wobbly knees make me do that.
It's not particularly knees with me, just a generalised distrust of the body- and its reflexes.
AND hold the hand rail as well.
I always stop and think, this is how I'll die - choking on a chicken bone tripping over dog toys falling down the stairs. And I'll need to pee.
At least it'll be quick...
learned the other night
not to close my eyes on the way into the bedroom
the door moved and i nailed it.
luckily not very hard.
our stairs are not all the same height
being careful is always a good idea.
i lost the last 2 when i closed my eyes could of winters ago
sometimes I think the whole damn house is moving.
The stairs here are narrow- with a stairlift on them that you have to squeeze past.
Would that surely not depend on the cider recently purchased? ^_^
Escalator setup gets very meticulous!
I pause at the bottom too, looking up and thinking, "Can I really do this."
