I started with Pictures of Perfection. It turned out not to be very representative of the series, but it gave me a romantic pairing I could root for, and those are rare in fiction.

I get the impression he liked to mess about with his readers' expectations. I understand there's a book in the series that's set in "the future" on the Moon.
