Early Spring

I sat out on the patio most of yesterday afternoon. It was sunny, but by the time I came back in my finger tips were all wrinkly with cold.

The trees are in leaf. the fields are full of rabbits. "Don't run away," I project at them but they're not picking me up.

We had a full moon last night .At least I think we did, but I can't be sure because I didn't have my glasses on and couldn't see if the circle was perfect or slightly clipped. The house cast a hard-edged shadow over the lawn and the light was so strong I could see the lines in my hand.

The Telegraph Cryptic featured this clue yesterday: " Sunny reflection in a dark hour." Answer: "Moonbeam".

I woke early this morning and listened to the birds singing. Ailz says she heard a cuckoo yesterday morning and I want to hear one too. I haven't heard one in ages.
