Folk Art

I was loading the bird table with seed yesterday morning and it just sort of came apart in my hands. We asked Matthew if he could do anything with the sad remains and he had a go but the wood was rotten and it was like working with wet cardboard. Then he went away and had a think and came back with a load of planks and started again from scratch. All he kept of the original was its little copper roof.  Matthew thinks the new bird table looks like the tower at Canary Wharf. I think it looks like a skeletal dalek.  Either way it makes me very happy. The birds like it too.
