In The Wrong Place

Ailz has been poorly and has spent much of the past two days in bed. (She's better now.) It felt odd to be rattling around downstairs with my mother. Like I was in a sit-com.

I  dreamed I was camping out in a wood in an equatorial desert.  Then the sun rose and headed off leftwards at a shallow angle- which is what would happen in Antarctica, right?

There's a bag in the hall that has been sitting there for weeks. It contains CDs. It wouldn't be there if I had any place to put it. My mother just noticed and was interrogating me about it and I snapped.

"If it's offending you," I said as I stalked away.
