Waiting For The Torch

We acquired the dressing table from Freecycle.  It was a cheap piece of mid-century furniture and not in good shape. We kept it in the rabbit room and used it for storage. Yesterday (because the rabbit room is no longer the rabbit room but the spare bedroom in waiting) I disassembled it (carefully with a screwdriver) and we put the pieces in the car and trucked them over to the tip. We also took several bags of Eric's clothes.

Ailz has gone to church this morning with her mother. She likes that sort of thing. Or, as she puts it, "I'll do cakes and wine with anyone." If it doesn't rain (and maybe even if it does) I'm going to walk up to Ashton Road and watch the Olympic torch come through.
