Still Waiting

Alice spent the night at home. We picked her up this morning and took her to the hospital for monitoring. They held onto her.  After lunch Alice made the decision to allow an induction; no pressure, but it was clearly what the midwife wanted. We went and fetched James. By this time Alice's mother and James's mother had turned up, so we stood down, handed over to them, and spent the afternoon driving round Leicestershire in the rain. 

We're back at the hotel now. We had a message about an hour ago (it's now 7 o'clock) that the induction was about to go ahead...
