Very Like A Whale [May. 21st, 2017|11:15 am]

Very Like a whale...

Part of this cloud formation- if not all of it- is made of expanded vapour trails. Before the invention of powered flight no-one would have seen anything quite like it and once our current aviation technology becomes obsolete- which I expect to happen very soon- no-one will see anything quite like it again. We live in the very brief period of historic time when such sights are possible.

That is lovely. Did you take the photo? I've never seen anything like it.

Yes, I did. Yesterday evening. It was a good day for clouds.

That's much more like a whale than you are like Polonius!

As a schoolboy actor I specialised in doddery old men- a characterisation I stole from Felix Aylmer's Polonius.
